Bulacan Website

As a proud Bulakenyo, I just want to share the new website of Bulacan Province... Since last night, I was planning to go out and bring my camera to do snap shots somewhere here, but I don't know any event nearby... There are so many places here with nice view but unfortunately I don't have my own service to reach those... And it's not easy to travel by transferring from one public vehicle to another with my camera... And another thing is, maybe I will not enjoy and can not concentrate on my work because once something or someone caught my attention or I spotted a nice location, the first thing that comes into my mind is to take a shot on it... But if I am just traveling by means of public vehicle, for sure I will miss those... Or I will take the risk and hard work of stopping by and later on take another Jeepney or Tricycle or kaya Pedicab! Hahahahaha... Which for sure will cost me a lot!

Anyhow, there is one place here which is very near... Actually walking distance lang from our home (Tamad ko maglakad no!?) and that is the Pulilan Butterfly Haven... Well, I planned it last night to go there and I also asked my daughter (Pipay) to wake me up but she forgot... Then the weather today is not quite good... And that is why I am doing this post now... But hoping the weather will change later, so maybe this afternoon I can go and if not probably on other day's nalang...

Back to the website of Bulacan... Just try to visit the website and I guess all the general informations about Bulacan is already here, the cities, municipalities, bario's, events, tourism, product's from Bulacan, hang-outs and other interesting facts... What attract's me most on this website are the photo's which gives more attraction and interest to the viewers... Hope someday, one of my photo will be included on this website (Mag aspire daw ba!?)

For me, it's another recognition...

Yes! It's another credit for me to recognized one of my shot on other article... And this time, it was requested by Ms. Amy Judd, who worked for Now Public which is a news sharing community that uses stories, photos, & videos or simply a news gathering website...

This morning, I received one email from Ms. Amy Judd and asking permission if she can use my shot of Shark's Fin Soup to be added on her article entitled Popularity of shark fins puts species on endangered list.

Niko & Alda's Pre-Nuptial Photography

Another pahabol na post... Its about the request of our beloved friend kneeko (Niko) and this was my first pre-nuptial photography... Actually I was the back-up photographer of masterbetong (Tutz) who is the main man or let's say the official professional photographer of Niko and Alda... Actually sabit lang po ang inyong lingkod dito and sa kagustuhan ko rin makasama sila and as request by Niko to do this... So another opportunity and challenge for me... So I accept it kahit walang bayad! Hehehehehe... Actually di pa naman po me professional and I'm still a newbie, and still learning from other's skills kung kaya't sinasamantala ang mga ganitong opportunities...

The location was in some places in Tagaytay... The call time was 11am at the Figaro, Tagaytay... But due to some circumstances medyo delay po lamang ng more than 4 hours ang ating copuple kung kaya't namuti na ang mga mata namin kakahintay, but it's ok 'coz while waiting I do some macro shot's and chit chat with masterbetong...

So, when the couple arrived the first stop was at the People's Park in The Sky or Palace in The Sky... The location was good but it's not quite ok because you will noticed that there is no enough maintenance, I mean like the railings at the side, ni hindi man lang napipinturahan to added more neatness and may satisfy the visitors especially tourist from other country... Then yung mga lightings post, mostly may mga damage... Sayang naman yung ganda ng view and location diba?
Anyway, our second stop is at the Picnic Grove, overlooking to Taal Volcano and with a peaceful clean and nice environment... Dito na kami nilubugan nang araw and sad to say, we missed the sunset, because we were at the hanging bridge and that was on the other side then ang akala namin is aabutan namin yung sunset kasi nga we thought ilang shots lang doon then balik na kami kung saan makikita yung sunset... But medyo nagkalibangan sa pag shoot and need pa noong couple magpalit nang attire kung kaya't nalibang and muntikan nang hindi talaga umabot sa paglubog ng araw...

This was a great experience and good timing narin for me during my vacation... Thanks to you guys and hope there will be more great moments and photo opportunities to come...

For the couple, we know na medyo busy kayo now for all preparations para sa wedding ninyo but remeber that after the wedding another preparations naman ang paghahandaan ninyo and yun ay ang pagiging isang family...

Free Dinner... Again!

Hayyysss... Late na naman ang mga post ko! This one, dapat noong pang Feb. 7 ko pa na post but, because of my busy scheds, and over stress 'coz that time worry parin ako sa aking exit re-entry visa sa Kingdom, kung kaya at lingaw ang aking pag-iisip...

Anyway, let's go back to the topic... This was about the treat of our friend Kuya Carmelo Punay, who transfer to other company in other country for he have a better offer and great opportunity... He promised us a treat once he got his back pay and this was it...

Because wala na nga si Kuya Mel dito sa Kingdom, si cousin ang nag-o-organize... Actually, ang place dapat is sa Flamingo Steak House in Al-Khobar, but because some of the adikz are busy na postponed ang first plan and everyone agreed na sa Gulf Royal Restaurant nalang, which is very near 'coz within Jubail lang and no worries for the transpo... But when we got there and sa hindi inaasahang pagkakataon, sad to say... There is no enough space for us and we don't have reservations... We didn't expect kasi na on an ordinary day mapupuno pala ng mga Korean yung place... Luckily hindi pa gaanong nakakalayo si Jalil yung driver ng transpo namin, so we call him to pick-up us and punta kami sa Silver Tower which is the second option.... Dante call his friend who work there and asked if may table pa for eight persons, when he confirmed that there is... He make a reservation agad...

So while everyone are waiting, I put out and prepare my gear then do my duty... Hehehehe, here are some shots...

Tomguts na kami! Kaya yung appetizers pasimpleng tinitikman till maubos! Then yung soup... Shhrrppp...

Wheeww... After several minutes, finally dumating narin yung main course...

Burp! Excuse me po... Sobrang busog, Hehehehe... Well another free dinner again and wish many more to come...

Thank you Kuya Mel sa iyong pagpapaunlak and we wish you more success in your new site job and wag sanang makakalimot sa mga adikz...

Appreciation

I uploaded some of my shots on my flickr account this morning and the subject are the foods from the Gulf Royale Restaurant. Then when I checked it again I received two comments from the other subscribers... Wow! Syempre flattered naman ako... So I opened the link and by surprise one of my shots has an invitation to be added on a group named [FOOD] Fried Rice... Kaya accepted agad ang invitation, baka kasi magbago pa ang isip and ma-cancel...

This is the shot which was added to the [FOOD] Fried Rice group in flickr.

Thanks xcode for adding this one on your group...
And sohersu leave a simple comment and appreciating this marco shot of mine... Thanks too...
This simple appreciation and comments inspired and motivate me to continue and pursue my skills in photography... It added more confident on me to keep on shooting... Thanks guys...
